All of you have put in much effort during the few weeks before the competition.
This is the reward that you get.
Continue to work hard & practise good. :D
I know you all can do even much better . (:
Remember the things that you have learnt about your instrument playing during the workshop.
Teach all your juniors the fundamentals
& share with those who didn't go for the genting trip .
Remember to apply it during your own practice session, sectionals and band practice.
SYF is coming in 3-4 months time.
I really need every single one of you to practise.
Remember to play SCALES. Scales,scales & scales.
Do your part as a musician in the band .
Music is like a puzzle.
If every musician has a puzzle piece, they need everyone to work together to complete the puzzle.
If one musician decides not to give his/her puzzle piece, the puzzle won't be completed.
Understand what i mean?
I need all of you to do your part & work together no matter what happens.
Be prepared that next few months when sch reopens..
There will be intensive band practices and intensive foot drills.
Intensive band practices because SYF is coming!
Intensive foot drills because we need to submit a video on your basic foot drills.
Intensive does not mean everyday.
But there will be more band practices & foot drills than what we usually have.
Few announcements...
1. Schedule for next band practices
Date: 29 December 2008(9am-4pm) & 30 December 2008(9am-1pm)
Venue: Band Room
Report in the band room @ 9am sharp for both practices. Be punctual.
If you know you can't wake up early, put many alarm clock in your bedroom!!!
Punishments will be given if you are late.If you can't attend, please tell your SLs.
2. Band t-shirt design
Please give your band t-shirt design on 29 December when you all attend band practice.
Remember dateline is on 29 December.
If nobody give us any design, we will stick to the old design which is your current band t-shirt design.
So, please design anything as long there are no vulgar wordings or obscene stuffs.
Can be any colour you think is nice.
Photos of Genting Trip will pe post soon or maybe later.
